Your Profile
You will be working in full stack, close-knit teams developing and delivering some of the most innovative soft ware soluti onsavailable for our clients, using Microsoft Azure technologies. You'll work in a cloud-FI rst environment, with a strong focus onserverless, microservices and containerisati on, seeing them through from design and into producti on. With a demonstrableagile mind-set and approach, you'll have ample opportunity to illustrate your love of development and passion for technology.
Your Role
Work on some of the most bleeding edge Digital/Cloud-based architectures in development today.
Act as a developer and subject matt er expert on delivery engagements for clients with responsibility for thespecifi cati on, development, testi ng and implementati on of complex cloud native applicati ons.
Work as part of a development team, helping drive delivery best practi ces eg branching strategy, testi ngmethodology, CI/CD and pipelines.
Support services before they go live through acti vities such as system design consulti ng, developing soft wareplatf orms, frameworks, automated testi ng, deployment and release pipelines, capacity planning and launch reviews.
Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, errors, saturati on, traffi c andoverall system health.
Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automati on and evolve systems by pushing for changes thatimprove reliability and release velocity.
Help defi ne processes and standards, following Open Source best practi ces and keeping abreast of industry trends.
Why you?
Excellent knowledge of cloud computi ng; experience of building scalable, resilient applicati ons using Azure
Experience of .NET and related technologies (.NET Core, MVC, Enti ty Framework, etc.)
Experience of Conti nuous Integrati on (CI) and Conti nuous Delivery (CD), ideally using Azure DevOps
Experience of working in collaborative teams and working in an agile manner in a commercial environment
A passion for technology and a drive to build enterprise systems with some of the UK's biggest names Skills
We're also using the following technologies and patt erns, it would be great if you had some of the skills, if not we can helpdevelop them Designing microservice-based architectures using domain driven design (DDD), CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns. Hold one or more Azure or .NET certifications Azure DevOps
Knowledge or experience of Security standards ie OWASP, PCI etc.
