Hours: 15 hours per week worked flexibly between Monday and Thursday Duration: 6 month fixed term contract (extension dependant on funding and performance) The role Citizens Advice Broxbourne helps local people to find a way forward with their problems and challenges policies which do not work. We are extending our opening hours and outreach locations, and so we are looking for generalist advisers to join our team. You ll provide information, guidance and advice to our clients face to face, by telephone, and by email. The role will encompass various aspects of general advice which will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your career with Citizens Advice. Ideally, you ll have experience of working as a Generalist Adviser within Citizens Advice, but we will consider candidates with relevant backgrounds and will provide full training. What's really important is your ability to learn quickly and apply this knowledge to helping clients. A good attitude to hard work, finding solutions and being able to take constructive feedback are essential. You ll also have strong interpersonal skills, as well as a good knowledge of IT. Above all, you will have a collaborative and inclusive approach, and a desire to work for an independent charity providing services to the local community.
