What you'll do
UK&I Technology
Ground-breaking projects. Innovative tech. Top innovation. Join our UK&I Technology team and you'll work across technology projects that drive our TV, broadband, mobile and Sky Connect services. You'll be at the heart of delivering the technology roadmaps that support our UK and Ireland businesses, with a focus on customer innovations for Sky Glass. That's not all. You'll also design, develop and deliver digital services for millions of customers across the UK.
We're recruiting for a highly motivated Agile Delivery Manager to join our technology team at Sky.
- Coach, mentor and develop the team (Delivery Leads and Release Managers) to high performance.
- Build and maintain trust with those you work with to ensure you can help clear the path for the teams.
- Lead the Delivery team through the project lifecycle ensuring alignment to ways of working, risk and issue management, effective project communication and delivery of quality artefacts e.g.: Project plans, RAID log, RACI, Project status reports.
- Lead the Delivery team to ensure project finances; forecasting spend, tracking actuals and planning stays on budget and prepping monthly finance reviews and reporting out to the stakeholders.
- Pro-actively involved in helping to develop and improve the Department Ways of Working
What you'll bring
- At least 3 years' experience in a Senior Delivery Lead/Senior Project Manager role.
- A proven track record of delivering complex Projects/Programmes whilst maintaining valued relationships and trust across all teams.
- Knowledge of various Agile / Lean frameworks.
- Excellent communication, Negotiation and Influencing skills, being able to communicate at all levels as well as facilitating decision making and escalating risk at the appropriate time.
- Outstanding organisation skills whilst being able to manage changing priorities and direction.
